Enviromental film idea

My favorite inciting incident in a film takes place in American Beauty. A little towards the middle of the film lester Burnam goes to his daughter's drill team performance at her school and sees Angela Hayes and feels a strong attraction towards her and realizes that he is not attracted to his wife, thus creating the odd pedophilic relationship that soon follows.
